Public Health Nursing was the official journal of CPHNO

15 May 2025

Dear Population, Public, and Community Health Nursing Leaders –

We, as the Council of Public Health Nursing Organizations (CPHNO), regret to inform you that Wiley Inc. and its subsidiary Wiley Online Libraries, have made the decision to sever their agreement with CPHNO and our partnership. We have not yet been provided a rationale for this decision of the future direction of the PHN journal. We are presently working to obtain this information. Thus, the PHN Journal is no longer the official journal of CPHNO. Thank you to the many scholars who have published their brilliant and impactful work in the journal and to the many readers who have enhanced their practice and education from what they derived among these readings to improve the health of the populations they served.

Sincerely,

Krista Jones DNP, RN, PHNA-BC, FNAP, FAAN, ELAN Fellow

Chair, Council of Public Health Nursing Organizations
