The Council of Public Health Nursing Organizations is a coalition of the nation’s leading public health nursing organizations. In partnership, we collectively and collaboratively strengthen public health nursing as a professional specialty, promoting excellence in practice, education, leadership, and research. We advocate for state, national, and global policies that improve the health of the public. The Council is delegated to speak as the collective and unified voice of public health nursing, being delegated to do so through inclusive and thoughtful dialogue among council members, who are chosen representatives of each member organization.
The health of the public is robust, equitable, and inclusive of all people, achieved with the indispensable skills and leadership of public health nurses.
To unite and amplify the authoritative voice of public health nurses, expanding their influence and impact to promote equitable health for all.
